Warm welcome

As winter draws near, we’re offering a warm welcome space to people of all ages from our church family and our community.

Worried about keeping warm or want some company? Come and join our warm, safe, free and welcoming space.

We’ll offer you a hot cuppa and simple meal, plus space and time to chat (if you want to). Play board games, perhaps watch a film, or grab a quiet spot to read, chill out or work.

Tuesdays (starting 13 December) *

6pm to 8:30pm

King’s Centre, Somers Road, Southsea, PO5 4QA (entrance on Fraser Road)

Help us make everyone feel safe and welcome

We have a few rules we ask you to follow:

  • Check out our room layouts, especially our emergency exits, and any areas that are out of bounds

  • Treat our team, spaces and fellow guests with respect, and let us know if you spot any issues

  • You’re responsible for your children at all times - don’t leave them in the care of volunteers or strangers

  • You’re responsible for any valuables you bring in

  • Let us know if you have any allergies or accessibility needs you think we should know about

  • Dogs are not allowed

  • Alcohol and drugs are not permitted here at any time

  • Using our Wi-Fi is subject to acceptable use

  • In an emergency, follow the directions given by our team
