What is Citizens all about?
At King’s Church, we meet 18-23s from all over the UK, and even the world. Whether as students, or for a variety of other reasons, there’s a wonderfully diverse mosaic of people who are gathered here in Portsmouth. It’s our desire to be a culture of belonging to everyone who joins us. Paul said, in Philippians 3:20, But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Saviour.” (NLT) This means, no matter where we come from, we have the commonality of being Citizens of the Kingdom of God as the family of God.

Why join the team?
The age range of 18-30 year olds is an amazing group to serve! We have students from all around the world, and those from the community who fit this age range. We have loads of fun together at our social events, but our primary focus is stirring up Christ-centred friendships in this ministry. We love to worship together and spend time studying the Bible.

What does commitment look like?
We meet two times a month. We communicate in a WhatsApp chat and have occasional meetings as a leadership team.

What we offer in return..
Great relationships, fun, and a Christmas party!
