Could You Give A Year?

The King's Academy is your opportunity to spend a year serving with us here at King’s Church, and to invest your time & energy in things that will affect eternity! It may not be for everybody, but if God is stirring in you a passion to join with us in serving Jesus through His church, then we want to throw our support behind you and invest ourselves in your spiritual development. The internship is designed to be a “hands on” experience, providing you the opportunity to get stuck in and put your faith into practice. Along the way you will join with all that we do with our full staff team, and you will also benefit from regular one-to-one mentoring and oversight to help you grow and develop.

We would love to hear about your areas of passion and gifting and where you might like to serve within the life of the church.
Some of the tracks we have previously offered are:

Childrens’s Track, Youth & Student Track, Hope Track (Foodbank & Community Outreach), Media and Communications Track, Operations Track, Worship Track

In addition to the main focus that these roles will provide, there will also be more general opportunities for all our interns to get involved with our Sunday teams, prayer initiatives, staff gatherings etc.
This voluntary year is also deliberately flexible enough to allow for some part time work alongside other areas of involvement if needed.

This year’s King's Academy will officially run from 6th September 2022 - 18th July 2023
